Hi! I'm Julie, Bob's assistant.

Bob told me that because I was so important, I really need my own page. I have my very own guestbook too and I hope you will sign it before you leave. I would like to know all about you....because Leona says it's not all about me.

Julie at fashion week

The picture above was taken during New York City fashion week. That's me behind the microphone...doing what I do best(being a star). I was the spokes-person for the whole event! I know a lot about fashion and I know a greal deal about music. I know about star-power. I used to be one myself. Dean Martin even sang a song about me.  Play the song

I can't tell you how many times I have jammed with Abbey Rodeo and other high profile bands in the Cleveland area. Unfortunately, they won't let me be involved with their concerts because they think I will steal the spotlight.

I cut an album that I am so proud of...It sold a lot back in the day, but no one remembers me anymore. Damn it, I'm still a star!

Just a little about me. I am originally from Pasadena, California. I was born on September 1, that makes me a Virgo.

Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac, to be exact, and that's the way Virgos like it: exacting. Those born under this sign are forever the butt of jokes for being so picky and critical (and they can be but of course, I'm not), but their 'attention to detail' is for a reason: to help others.

Because of my ability to coordinate all sorts of events, I planned Bob and Lenora's wedding for them. They didn't ask me to, they just wanted to go to the local courthouse but I wouldn't hear of it. I objected vehemently to their plans and did all the wedding and reception preparations myself. You know it's not easy to plan a wedding. After all the work I did, Lenora honored me with a note of appreciation for all my hard work.

When the day of the wedding actually arrived, I was SO tired that Bob had to tie me to a tree so I wouldn't keel over.

Virgos, more than any other sign, were born to serve, and it gives me great joy. I am tailor-made for this job, since I am industrious, methodical and efficient. I have a tremendous sense of duty. That ensures that I will always work for the greater good.

Like most Virgos, I tend to take on some of the qualities of a Virgin, things like modesty and humanity. Some might consider me repressed, although Virgins would argue that it's a noble quality, as opposed to a negative one. Most of all, Virgos enjoy indulging their practical and logical side and poring over their projects to the nth degree. To say I am good at fact-finding almost understates the case, since Virgos revel in their exacting (some would argue pedantic) behavior and are a whiz with minutiae. I am certainly am an asset to Bob and Lenora because I can be counted on to get things right the first time, every time -- and no detail will be overlooked. I am balanced and fair in my assessment and will let Bob and Lenora know if I think they are being underpaid.

I'm not one to sit still for long. I am just a bundle of energy, both physically and mentally, and that pretty much sums up my makeup. My brain is in overdrive most of the time, which is why I get so much done. I am an communicator and I use my mental acuity to the maximum advantage.

With all of this brainpower, I can be prone to skepticism, and that can lead to the kind of over-think that surely leads to overkill. Thankfully, I am a studious helper and I can temper my worst impulses with a bit of careful analysis. I enjoy studying a situation in great detail, whether it's a work project or a friendship. I think I am truly interested in understanding things.

I pride myself as a perfectionist but sometimes that can get in the way of my usual clear thinking. I have to keep telling Bob and Lenora: 'I'm not a perfectionist; I'm discriminating!'. I am happy in the knowledge that my taste in hotel decor is unparalleled. I am neat and clean, reliable and practical and oh-so-useful to have around. My favorite thing to do is vacuum and I can vacuum most of the day without getting tired.

Of course other's may have flash and dash but I would rather be humble and easy-going. I do enjoy material possessions and am (dare we say?) picky about what I bring into my life. Some people might even go as far as calling me self-centered, but it's really more of a desire to surround myself with what's right for me. I can be a worrywart, but I do my best to temper these impulses.

Sometimes my nervousness goes unchecked and it has lead me to hypochondria, that ugly skeleton in my closet. Speaking of closets...has anyone seen my black dress? I moved last week and now I can't find it.

I am extremely health conscious, to the point of being storehouses of information on diet and hygiene. I should have chosen a health or medical career like Bob's sister, Wendy. She's a Libra. I time myself on my morning run and get in 300 sit-ups every day.

When it comes to the game of love, I am finally able to loosen up somewhat. I was married a short time to a vacuum cleaner salesman from Painesville, Ohio. We got married in an elaborate ceremony on the strip in Vegas. That's how I ended up in Ohio. That romance was short lived. He ran out of vacuum bags and I moved on with my life.

Since Virgo rules the intestines, worried Virgos need to be wary of bowel upsets. I don't worry about that most of the time.

Oh...oops gotta go!
